Stumped for Content While Stuck at Home? Take Advantage of Social Media Holidays

Whether it’s #WorldLaughterDay, #CincoDeMayo, or #NationalDonutDay it seems like the internet is celebrating a holiday almost everyday. And you should be too!

Social media managers should always be eyeing trends and holidays that they can leverage. But I feel like now more than ever, it can be tough to come up with content as so many of us are stuck at home. Using social media holidays can be a really great way to get creative!

Although I definitely do not suggest sharing a bunch of content that isn’t relevant to your brand, or using a social media holiday hashtag irrelevant to your post just for the views… I do recommend taking a look at the list of holidays and seeing which ones you could take advantage of. They can be used as inspiration for creating content, plus using a trending topic is great for engagement!

There is such a plethora of celebrated days, that it shouldn’t be hard to find a couple that can relate to your brand. If you get creative, I think you could take even take advantage of a lot of these holidays from the comfort of your home if that’s where you’re currently working from!

I’m providing a list of holidays for the next three months, so add them to your calendar and start brainstorming which ones you could create some content for! 🙂
