Weekend Browsing is where I round up all the things from the week. Whether it’s an awesome sale, an interesting article, a pair of jeans I’m loving or a link to something to put a smile on your face!
Happy Friday everyone, I hope everyone is feeling okay today. I hope you’re still educating yourself on the important things going on in the world and that you are also taking time for yourself.
I just recently started the book Biased, excited to read it and report back.
My buddies started a podcast, Educated Messes, a “podcast to help you sift through the BS around work, well-being, and relationships”. The first episode is “Why is it so Hard to Try New Things?” and it’s soooo good, please check it out!
Coachella and Stagecoach are officially cancelled for 2019.
Came across this document this morning, created to help members of the black community find resources for mental health support.
This document is for people (like me) who feel like they are just in the beginning stages of learning about anti-racism.
Get to know (and get obsessed with) Wildfang Home, a lovely vintage shop based in Montreal.
Diner Deluxe in Kelowna just opened, across the street from Gyro Beach. I love the vibe and aesthetic inside. I got the OGO Bowl, and tbh I didn’t LOVE it. I didn’t expect so much of the dish to be cold, but I think it was just a personal preference and I will definitely go back and try something else.
This week we also went to Frankie We Salute You, which just re-opened post-COVID and I think I forgot for a second how friggin’ good it is. Our favourite dish by far was surprisingly the Sweet Cornn Queso Dip. We also loved the Cauliflower Tostadas and the Chorizo Ranchero Bowl.
I wrote a blog post on our short trip to Osoyoos, read the itinerary here.
